3 Basic Parts

Getting your website on the internet consists of 3 main parts:

1. Your Domain Name - Cost $20 - $30 per year depending on the type
Your domain name is your address on the web. It consists of 2 parts a) the name + b) the extension. We can manage it for you, or you can do it yourself and give us access.

Tips:
a) Make the words easy to spell
b) Make it easy to remember
c) Don’t use unusual characters, only letters, numbers or dashes [-]. Do not enter spaces, periods [.] or other punctuation.
d) Short is better

2. Design of Your Website - Cost from $250 and up - one time fee, depending on features.
Your website design and setup does not have to cost a fortune. We are happy to help you choose from a wide selection of pre-made templates which can make the design much quicker and less expensive. If you want to try your hand at it, we would be more than happy to teach you how and help you along the way. We are also happy to work on websites developed by students, or any other web designers.

3. Annual Hosting - Cost from $120 and up annually, depending on the type and size of your site.
Your website has to reside on a server to be accessible on the internet. The use of flash, interactive programming code, databases and files for download all contribute to the complexity and cost of your website hosting. We would be happy to give you a comprehensive detailed quote for hosting your site.
